What Is Coaching?
The International Coach Federation (ICF)–the largest organization of coaches globally–defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” ICF-certified coaches complete rigorous training and testing; undertake continuing education to maintain their credentials; and are held to strict ethical standards.
TransformingLives.Coach offers two different types of coaching packages. These packages are available to individuals, groups and teams. Email support and short “laser coaching” sessions are included in each coaching package at no additional cost. Sessions are offered online in English using Zoom; in this way TransformingLives.Coach serves clients around the world.
Transformational Change Coaching
Transformational Change Coaching packages are for people who are involved in, or are exploring, really big changes in their lives. Sessions are 90-minutes, and are usually scheduled two weeks apart. The work follows the flow that is highlighted in The Universal Change Journey. There are in-depth assignments that are to be completed, submitted, and reviewed in between each session. The 6-session package lasts approximately 3 months; the 13-session packages is approximately 6 months in duration.
Examples of client situations that have been the focus of Transformational Change Coaching Packages include:
- Mid-career loss of job
- Career change (layoff/termination driven)
- Career change (passion driven)
- Move from team-based business to solopreneur
- Preparing for retirement
- Significant change in health/wellness
- Coming out as LGBTQ
Growth Coaching packages are for people who want to improve themselves by addressing such things as self-limiting beliefs; learning new skills; developing new habits or practices; or strengthening relationships. Sessions are 60-minutes, and are usually scheduled two weeks apart. Clients leave each session with an action plan which may include completing and submitting an assignment between sessions. The 6-session package lasts approximately 3 months; the 13-session packages is approximately 6 months in duration.
